Kind Attention : All Players

As per FIDE Title Regulations 1.3 ( requirements for the titles designated in the 0.31 )  players are awarded FIDE titles as and when they reach a certain ELO Ratings as detailed below : -

1.3 Those titles gained by achieving a published rating at some time or other.

1.31   FIDE Master      2300 Elo                      Title Fees : Rs.5000/-

1.32  Candidate Master 2200 Elo                   Title Fees : Rs.5000/-

1.33 Women FIDE Master 2100 ELo              Title Fees : Rs.5000/-

1.34 Women Candidate Master 2000 Elo      Title Fees : Rs.5000/-

Hence, we appeal to all those players who fall within the ambit of above ELO rating to kindly apply immediately so that AICF can apply for your FIDE Title.  Players will benefit while playing in the tournaments by getting better facilities if they are FIDE title holders.  Besides, this will also help many of our players to gain title norms.  For instance in a Title tournament a player has to play 5 Titled players to get a Norm.  When there are more title holders our Indian players will have more chances to gain IM, GM, WIM and  WGM norms.  -   31st Dec, 2007
