List of players from India for the Asian Youth Chess Championship to be held at New Delhi from 01st to 09th August, 2009


Following are the players selected for the Asian Youth Chess Championship to be held at Delhi - 2009. All Players are requested to confirm their participation before 30th June, 2009 to All India Chess Federation with a copy to the Organizers at New Delhi.

Those not interested in taking part in the championship are also requested to inform AICF immediately

Category - I - Seeded Players :

Last year Asian Medal winners ( if beyond age, players are entitled to play in one category higher )

For the following players AICF will take care of all the expenses.  However, they shall spend for their travel from home town to Delhi and back.

Category – II –National Champions :

(if National champion is seeded then the next in line is considered as normal entry). 

For the following players AICF will take care of all the expenses.  However, they shall spend for their travel from home town to Delhi and back.

Category III – Host Entry

Normal Entry fee and Boarding & Lodging will be borne by the players themselves

Category - IV – Donor Entry

As per rules all Under – 8 Players will be considered as donor entries only. Each country is allowed only two donor entries (As host Country we will try for the third entry ( Donor ) in under - 8 section) . Further, Bronze Medalist in other age group Nationals and 04th / 05th / 06th Positions ( in case 1, 2 & 3 come under category I & II ) in the Nationals are extended invitation to participate. However these players identified below will have to pay donor entry fee and take care of boarding & lodging themselves.  They shall also spend for their travel from home town to Delhi and back.
