7TH PARSVNATH INTERNATIONAL OPEN CHESS TOURNAMENT - 370 entries
received so far
The 7th edition of the Parsvnath International open tournament will see as
many as 22 Grandmasters in action when the event unfolds from January 10th
in the national capital.
The annual International open, will have the biggest ever prize fund of Rs.
11.50 Lakhs. The top seed of the event will be Grandmaster Alexander
Areshchenko of Ukraine with an ELO rating of 2664 points. While the Indian
challenge will be spearheaded by Grandmaster and National Champion Surya
Shekhar Ganguly.
The total confirmed participation is 370 and expected to go past the 400
mark this year.
