The 38th National Junior & 23rd National Junior
girls chess championships which was scheduled to be held at Vijayawada from 3rd
to 11th November, 2008 has been shifted to
Tadepalligudem, West Godawari District(AP) on
the same dates. We have received information from the Andhra Pradesh Chess
Association that this shift of venue was due to some unavoidable circumstances.
TADEPALLIGUDEM is accessible through main
Railway line and is 100 k.m from Vijayawada (Gannavaram)Airport. The first
National Championship took place in this town which was won by Mr Darbha
Venkaiah. All State Associations / Players are kindly requested to send the
arrival details to Secretary of West Godawari Chess Association, Mr.Chandra
