T Abhay of TN defeated IM Roeder, Matthias in a very beautifully played game. ABHAY sacrificed his material to register sensational win. GM abhijeet Gupta defeated IM Deepsenguta with Black pieces. Both have Four Points in 5 Round & leaders among Indians. GM Delchev, Aleksander & GM Mirzoev are leader of tournaments with 4.5 points each.

Other Indian Star performer is FM S. Nitin who defeated world under 16 Champion WIM Guramishvili, Sopiko of Georgia. Nitin is on 3.5 now. IM SP Sethuraman drew against WGM Djingarova, Emilia. FM G V Sai Krishana defeated IM Vilela De Acuna, Jose Luis
