Humpy Defeats Cramling

World No.2 in women Koneru Humpy recorded a third round win against Pia
Cramling of Sweden, one of the strongest women players for the last three
decades.
The 5th North Urals Cup is happening at Krasnoturinsk in Russia. It is a
category 11 rating event with an average of 2522.
After three rounds, defending champion and top seed Humpy is on one point
from three games and is tied for the fifth to seventh places. It is a
8-player all-play-all.
Former world women's champion Antoaneta Stefanova of Bulgaria is leading
the event with 2.5/3. Humpy had lost to Stefanova and Marie Sebag in the
first two rounds.
